I purchased a cancer survivor charm for a friend who had just completed chemo and was not feeling that she would be able to run again. She cried when she saw it, and said it was perfect little motivator to lace up her shoes and start walking. Since then I've bought additional charms for myself and as gifts. They are all beautiful.
